Silvia Torsi is currently Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Department of Information Engineering and Computer Science of the University of Trento. She has a Master's Degree in Communication Sciences and a Ph.D. in Cognitive Sciences. Her research is primarily in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) with a particular focus on self-care and unobtrusive notifications (peripheral awareness). Other research interests include spatial reasoning for GIS, game design, and Internet of Things (IoT).
