Rafael Samorinha holds a Master's Degree in Electronic Engineering, specializing in Embedded Systems, from the Universidade do Minho. His thesis focused on the development of a cognitive architecture for image classification in the medical field, encompassing diverse areas such as cognitive psychology, meta-learning, data analysis, and artificial intelligence.
As of November 2023, Rafael has embarked on a new academic journey, pursuing a PhD scholarship in Computer Science at the Università di Trento with the KnowDive group. In this program, he is delving into the realm of Human-Machine Symbiosis, furthering his expertise and contributing to advancements in the field, doing research in areas related to Compiler Technology and Functinal Programming.
