João Silva holds a Master's Degree in Electronic Engineering with specializations in Embedded Systems and Computers, and Instrumentation and Electric Microsystems. His master's thesis focused on the deployment of the physical part of a dedicated cognitive architecture structured using behavior trees in an embedded environment, bridging the fields of Embedded Systems and Artificial Intelligence.
He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. at the University of Trento in the field of Computer Science, with a specific focus on Artificial Human Cognition. His work comprehends mainly a junction between compiler technologies, functional languages, and optimized GPU deployment.
