Andrea Bontempelli is currently a Ph.D. student at the Department of Information Engineering and Computer Science of the University of Trento, tutored by Prof. Fausto Giunchiglia and Prof. Andrea Passerini.
He obtained a Master's Degree in Computer Science from the University of Trento and he spent a semester at the University of Göttingen. For his thesis, he worked on skeptical learning and Gaussian processes.
His research interests include machine learning, with a focus on the deployment of robust machine learning techniques in an incremental learning and open world scenario.
